This traditional Scottish fruit cake has a rich flavor that will change your mind about fruit cake! It has been a tradition in Ben's family for decades, as his mum Sonja always makes sure this cake is made by the first week of December every year!
Made with currants, sultanas, dried figs, glacé cherries and almonds, this cake is made well ahead of the Christmas holiday and soaked in brandy for 3 weeks to give it a rich, moist finish.
