Voyageurs Bakehouse is Expanding

Voyageurs Bakehouse is Expanding

The secret is out! Yes, it's TRUE!

You may have already heard through the "bread-vine," but we couldn’t be happier to announce that…

Voyageurs Bakehouse is coming to Downtown Appleton!

Every downtown needs the heartbeat of an artisan bakery, and we're absolutely delighted to get to serve Downtown Appleton in this way.

Located on the corner of College Avenue & Appleton Street at 201 W. College Avenue, this historic First National Bank Building was built in 1859. Recent renovations include large new windows to bring bright, fresh vibes to the new Voyageurs Bakehouse.

It's everything that we've been dreaming of and can't wait to see our vision for this Bakehouse come to life.

Our mission at Voyageurs is to bring people around the table to enjoy real, traditional sourdough and artisan pastry.

We believe that by coming together as a family, as friends, and as a community, we are able to make a positive impact in the world around us through conversation, innovation, and acceptance.

As a Bakehouse, there's no greater reward than to know that our bread has a place at your table and may spark conversation about the importance of high quality local ingredients, traditional bread making techniques, and the values we stand for as a company.

All of this is incorporated into every loaf of Voyageurs Bakehouse sourdough bread that you enjoy at your table.

Being able to bring this mission to neighboring cities is part of our greater mission and purpose as a business.

Expanding into a new community gives us an avenue to bring a positive impact to more people who connect with what we stand for. It's about giving a new community and YOU another place...

To meet with your friends.

To sit down and share deep belly laughs.

To shed a tear and be truly heard and embraced by someone who loves you.

To enjoy an impromptu, fulfilling conversation with someone new who is enjoying a solo coffee.

To meet a colleague and get a breath of fresh air outside the office.

To feel accepted and connected for our commonalities, rather than divided by our differences.

We said 2021 was the year of expansion...

"2021 has a big theme of "Rise & Expand." There are so many ways we want to continue to evolve, rise, and learn as business owners. There are themes of expansion for us both as individuals and as a business."
~ Excerpt from an email sent on December 29th, 2020

Well, the expansion has started and is fully upon us! With a new baby and new Bakehouse, there are so many ways we are evolving as business owners, and being challenged as individuals to rise and grow. There's never a dull moment, and we definitely take it one day at a time.

But we wouldn't change a thing about it. We returned to Green Bay in 2018 wanting to do something new. Something that mattered. Something that made an impact.

So here we are. We're here for it. We're doing it.

And we are unbelievably grateful to all of you who continue to show up with us on this journey!

We can't wait to invite you to see the new Appleton Voyageurs Bakehouse at the end of the summer.

Thank you. Thank you.
