    I was excited when I first came across a crypto token that claimed to be endorsed by NFL quarterback Jake Thompson. As a big fan of his football career, I believed his endorsement made the project trustworthy. Thinking I was grabbing a great opportunity, I invested $120,000, convinced that I would see good returns. However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment. Just a few days after investing, Thompson removed all his posts related to the token. Soon after, the token’s value plummeted. I later found out that the account promoting the token was a fake, and someone was pretending to be Thompson to scam people like me. It was shocking to realize that the endorsement was just a scam, raising serious questions about celebrity endorsements in crypto. They thoroughly investigated and discovered that the development team behind the token was involved in similar celebrity scam schemes before. They had a history of using fake endorsements and impersonations to trick investors.
