Join us for a very special edition of our Young Voyageurs: Bake & Play series — this time, we’re making classic birthday cakes in honor of Voyageurs Bakehouse turning SIX!
In this 2-hour, hands-on kids class, your little baker will:
🎨 Create their own apron & baker’s hat to wear proudly
🧁 Learn how to mix, bake, and build a birthday cake with our team of bakers
🌈 Decorate their very own cake using frosting, sprinkles, and playful toppings
It’s the perfect blend of art, baking, and imaginative play, all guided by our friendly bakery team.
When: Wednesday, March 11th, 2026
Time: 5:00–7:00 PM
Ages: 4–10 (must be able to participate with gentle guidance)
Parents: Please stay on site! You're welcome to jump in and help, or relax nearby with a glass of wine and a good book.
Your child will get to take home:
Their very own Bakehouse Birthday Cake
Each child will get to take home their decorated birthday cake from the class.
Take Home Birthday Cake:
They will also get a take home box with pre-portioned birthday cake ingredients to practice and make their own cake at home.
Apron & Bakers Cap
Every participant gets a charming mini apron and baker’s cap, which will allow them to step into a whole new world and imagination while in the Bakehouse. It is also a keepsake to inspire baking long after class ends.
Snacks & Drinks Included
Kid-friendly, sourdough-focused snacks and drinks are provided.
Please note: A parent or guardian must sign a participation waiver prior to the start of class.
