Costa Rica Las Lajas
This fruit forward coffee comes to us from the farm of Los Angeles and was processed at the Las Lajas mill in the Central Valley of Costa Rica. This coffee really popped on the cupping table with a plethora of juicy fruits; passion fruit, key lime, and cherry jam. This beautifully complex coffee features a version of natural processing style called Alma Negra. This means the coffee starts drying in a greenhouse for a few days, is then brought to raised beds during sunshine hours only to be returned to the greenhouse at night.
